Lauren Sperber

Co-Owner

Lauren was born and raised in Atlanta. After meeting her husband Matthew during college at Tulane University, she braved one too many cold New York winters before making the move to Charleston.
After working for a few years as a patient satisfaction specialist at a busy radiology practice, she pursued her passion of healthcare and working with people by attending NYU’s School of Nursing. She spent several years working as an obstetric and public health nurse prior to the arrival of her daughter, Allie.

Between the birth of Allie and the birth of Magnolia Family Dental, Lauren decided to trade in her scrubs for, well, new scrubs — and take on the role of practice manager. She loves combining the skills she obtained working in an administrative role with her clinical knowledge, and the opportunity to expand that knowledge in the dentistry world. There is nothing more important to Lauren than making sure every patient and staff member leaves feeling appreciated, happy, and genuinely excited to come back.

When she’s not in the office, you can find her loving on Allie and her two dogs, Molly and Mimi, out on a run, or visiting with family and friends.

Tristan McArdle

Practice Manager

Originally from the little town of Latta, she found her happy place in the city of Charleston. Tristan graduated from the College of Charleston with a major in communications and entered the hospitality industry. After managing a busy hotel in the heart of Downtown Charleston for several years, she was excited when an opportunity arose to use her hospitality skills in the dental world as a patient care coordinator. She quickly fell in love with Dentistry and decided to bring her combined dental knowledge and exeptional mangement skills to our team as the Practice Manager. She is always looking for new ways to improve the experience of every patient and team member has in our office, and loves going above and beyond to make Magnolia Family Dental a special place to visit and work.

When she’s not hard at work in the office, you can find her on a walk with her pug, Greta, by the water, or browsing local shops.

Jessica Heavner

Clinical Manager

Jessica was born and raised in the low country and started her dental career here in 2016. She has worked in both general dentistry and pediatric offices, and loves the variety she get to see every day at Magnolia Family Dental. While Jess adores all of her patients, she is exceptional with making the dentist a fun and comfortable experience for our pediatric patients. She loves getting to know her patients and seeing the transformation patients make when their smiles and oral health are restored.

When she’s not hard at work, you can find Jess with her high school sweetheart, Tylor, and daughter, Ellie, remodeling their house, doing anything that gets them outside, or enjoying their favorite brunch spots in Charleston.

Chelee Stewart

Front Office Manager

Chelee brings almost a decade of dental and customer service experience to our team, along with a sparkling smile that truly brightens the office. She was born in New Jersey, but spent 8 years of her childhood in Nicaragua until she later returned to Sayreville, NJ. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is currently learning Korean. Sunny beaches and southern hospitality brought Chelee and her husband, Brandon, down South, and they quickly fell in love with the Charleston lifestyle.
Chelee has always been passionate about Customer Service. Her outlook on life is to “treat others how you want to be treated, and to always show up with the smile”. Her naturally positive spirit, along with a wealth of knowledge about insurance, scheduling, and dentistry, make her an invaluable member of our team. She has an incredible attention to detail, and is always going the extra mile to make sure our patients have a seamless experience at the practice. She loves the variety of her job, and especially values the connections she is able to make with our patients. When she’s not hard at work, you can find Chelee loving on her adorable son, Jaxon, and furbabies, Ellie and Hunter, or sipping coffee watching old time classics and catching up on reading.

Ashleigh Ransonette

Accounts Manager

From her home state of Texas to travelling to Delaware to obtain her Bachelor of Science from Wilmington University, Ashleigh dove straight into the dental world after graduation. Shortly after, her husband, Zack, was relocated to the Charleston Air Force Base, which lucky for us brought Ashleigh to our office. Ashleigh’s attention to detail, passion for helping others, and strong work ethic make her an incredible asset to our team and the patients we serve. Getting to know our amazing patients is by far her favorite part of the day and she loves when she can make someone’s treatment a possibility by navigating the insurance and financial side of dentistry with them.

Outside of work, Ashleigh’s favorite place to be is in the kitchen whipping up a delicious plant based meal, tending to her plants, or out on a walk with Zack and their rescue pup, Vina.

Natalie Dyson

Patient Care Coordinator

Natalie is a Virginia Beach native and wholeheartedly agrees that beaches are her happy place. A new job opportunity combined with the southern charm of the low country brought her to Summerville, SC in 2013.

Natalie attended the College of Charleston and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health. She has always had a passion for healthcare, and began her career working as a receptionist at a medical office. Her interest in dentistry led her to her current role, and she couldn’t be happier. Natalie is a firm believer that the personal aspects of her job are just as important as the technical ones, and places a strong emphasis on remembering faces, names, and stories, ensuring that every patient feels like a cherished part of the dental family.

Natalie and her husband, Lucas, are proud parents to two sweet girls, Heidi (4) and Hazel (1). Their household is a lively one, with a dog named Bruno, a cat named Harlow, and a multitude of fish- there’s truly never a dull moment. When Natalie isn’t busy at the office, you’ll find her and her crew exploring the great outdoors or checking out a new restaurant-always on the lookout for something new and exciting.

Catherine Froetschner

Hygienist

Catherine is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. She completed her Dental Hygiene schooling at the Northampton Community College in PA after starting her education as a Psychology major at Kansas State University. She has been working as a Dental Hygienist for almost 20 years, and practicing in SC for the last 3 years. Catherine truly loves what she does and is strongly committed to promoting oral and overall health for her patients. Throughout her career she has continually looked for opportunities to learn and closely follows the latest research and advances in her field. She brings not only an incredible amount of knowledge and talent to our team, but also her shining positive personality and zest for life that truly brightens the office.

When Catherine isn’t busy brightening smiles, you’ll still almost always find her busy. She and her husband, Jerod, have two kids, Avelyn and Jaxen. Most of their time is spent chasing the kids around to their many school and extracurricular activities. Catherine also enjoys gardening, running, biking, exploring the beaches, golfing, traveling, and more gardening.

Deanna Creazzo

Hygienist

Dee was raised in Columbia, SC and moved to the beautiful city of Summerville several years ago for her husband’s work. She started her dental career by attending Expanded Duties Dental Assistant at Midlands Technical College where her passion grew for all things dentistry and especially hygiene. Continuing her education, Dee graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 2014 where she was presented with the Mary Clary Hygienist of the Year award for the state of SC. Her talent for dental hygiene is just as strong as her ability to put nervous patients at ease and make every visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Dee is known as the “Office Mama” as she truly loves and excels at caring for the Magnolia team and incredible patients we serve. The most rewarding part of her job is having the opportunity to build someone’s confidence about their smile and helping her patients to regain a healthy smile and body. Dee and her husband, Nathan, spend most of their free time loving on their two beautiful boys, Louie and Dom. And of course, their first (fur)baby Kimbo. Her family loves traveling and visiting with family, camping, and cooking.

Ciara Morris

Hygenist

Ciara is a true local, having been born and raised in Goose Creek, SC. She attended Trident Technical College and brings 6 years of experience to our team, including two years of dedicated pediatric experience.

She loves the opportunity that working as a hygienist gives her to meet new people, many of whom have become like family to her. Ciara has a strong passion for exceptional patient care. Over the course of her career, she has often seen that people have reservations about visiting the dentist due to dental anxiety or fear of judgement, which often leads to procrastination in seeking essential care. It brings her immense satisfaction to help her patients overcome those feelings and regain their confidence in their smiles. Once you meet Ciara, you’ll see why it’s impossible to leave her chair without a shining smile on your face.

Ciara and her husband, Dylan, have two amazing children, Everly and Atticus, who keep them on their toes with their nonstop energy. When she’s not at work or taking care of her sweet family, you can find her actively involved in her local church community. She also loves soaking in the warm weather poolside with her family, and fully embraces having the majority of her extended family just a few miles down the road.

Stella Crunkleton

Dental Assistant

Stella is originally from Taipei, Taiwan, but jumped at the chance to embrace the southern charm of Charleston life when her husband’s job allowed them to relocate from Virginia. With 6 years of diverse experience under her belt as a dental assistant, she brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

Stella thrives on the constant learning that the dental world offers and finds fulfillment in ensuring her patients experience utmost comfort and exceptional dental care.

When not tending to patients, you can find her caring for her fur babies, Silas and Ballista. Stella also enjoys the cooking and cherishing quality moments with her husband.

Morgan Cummings

Dental Assistant

Morgan is originally from the charming town of Walterboro, SC, but has always held Charleston close to her heart as her home away from home. Morgan brings an array of talents to our team thanks to her diverse professional background-from working at a local boutique, to handling the hustle and bustle of restaurant life, and then pursuing a career in nursing, Morgan finally found her true passion in the dental field. She received her training at Trident Technical College to become an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and has loved every minute of it.

Morgan thrives on being a guiding hand in boosting patients’ confidence in their smiles and ensuring their utmost comfort. Providing exceptional patient care is her number one priority, and she feels so blessed to get to know the incredible patients who walk through the door every day.

Beyond her professional life, family holds the utmost importance to Morgan. She has two older brothers whom she’s always looked up to, her father is her biggest advocate, and she strives every day to make her late mother proud. Morgan and her other half, Jackson, have an awesome fur family consisting of pups Millie and Bentley, along with their feline boss, Luna, and the delightful beta fish, Bubbles. When she’s not busy at the dental office, Morgan’s favorite hobbies include spending quality time with her family, a little retail therapy, fishing and boat rides, relishing the beauty of Edisto Beach and Lake Marion, and putting her green thumb to use in the garden.
