Matthew Sperber, DDS

Practice Owner/Dentist

Dr. Matt’s fascination with dentistry started early — often tagging along to his mother’s many dental appointments. Though she had great oral health, she went through nearly every dental procedure imaginable, sometimes more than once. Watching this sparked a mix of feelings in Dr. Matt: a growing passion for dentistry alongside empathy for his mother’s dental anxiety.

Following his passion, Dr. Matt earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University. To further his skills, he completed a comprehensive general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel, treating many medically and dentally complex cases.

He has since advanced his training in implant placement, root canal therapy, and Invisalign®, and has been involved in research dedicated to reducing patient anxiety — a cause close to his heart, especially in helping nervous patients feel relaxed and cared for.

Dr. Matt moved to South Carolina after residency and has been practicing in a busy private practice ever since, bringing expert care with a personal touch.

At home, Dr. Matt and his wife Lauren are proud parents to four kids: daughter Allie, son Lucas, and twin daughters Sophia and Emma. They share their busy household with two dogs, Mimi and Molly. Outside the office, Dr. Matt loves exploring the local community with his family, cooking, running, and soaking up the South Carolina sun. An avid skier, he’s also considering swapping his snow skis for water skis as he embraces coastal life.

Above all, Dr. Matt values building genuine relationships with his patients — learning about their lives while providing top-quality dental care.

Michael Dudleck, DMD

Dentist

Dr. Michael’s passion for dentistry grew out of his own childhood experience. An impacted canine tooth meant years of dental visits, braces, and more appointments than he can count. Thankfully, he was cared for by an incredible team who not only saved his smile but also modeled the gentle, patient-focused approach that Dr. Michael now brings to every patient he sees.

Originally from Myrtle Beach, SC, Dr. Michael came to Charleston to attend the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. Already accustomed to the South Carolina summer heat, he quickly fell in love with Charleston’s charm and decided to make it his permanent home.

He completed a General Dentistry Residency at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in North Carolina, where he gained advanced training in implant placement, digital dentistry, and Invisalign. Though many weekends were spent commuting between NC and SC, Dr. Michael made the most of the drive by immersing himself in dental podcasts and staying up to date with the latest innovations. His hard work paid off when he was honored to speak at his graduation — a true testament to his dedication and success.

Dr. Michael is passionate about lifelong learning and constantly seeks new ways to provide the best care possible for his patients.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Michael and his wife, Sarah, love soaking up the Charleston sunshine. Whether they’re grilling, golfing, watching sports, or adventuring outdoors with their corgi, Nova, you’ll find them enjoying all that coastal living has to offer. On rainy days, Dr. Michael enjoys playing chess, sketching, watching comedy shows, or good-naturedly reminding his twin brother that he’s the oldest by three minutes.

Dr. Michael feels incredibly grateful to serve such a wonderful community of patients who trust him with their care.

Bethany Leedy, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Leedy’s love for working with her hands started early—she’s the daughter of a carpenter and spent much of her childhood helping with hands-on projects. That same love of building and creating eventually led her to dentistry, especially after shadowing her family dentist and realizing she could combine craftsmanship, problem-solving, and compassion in a meaningful career. After just a few days, she knew she’d found her calling.

Originally from Westminster, Maryland (go Ravens!), Dr. Leedy went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She then completed an advanced residency in complex restorative and implant dentistry at The Dental College of Georgia. Her training gave her in-depth experience in crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant restorations, and she continues to love the variety and artistry that dentistry brings.

Her dedication and excellence haven’t gone unnoticed. During dental school, she was selected by her class for a prestigious Implant Prosthodontics Clerkship and was inducted into the Gorgas Honors Society and Gamma Pi Dental Prosthodontic Society. She also received the American College of Prosthodontics Pre-Doctoral Achievement Award and the Academy of General Dentistry Award.

Dr. Leedy’s favorite part of the day is catching up with patients and making sure they feel at ease in the chair. She believes that trust, comfort, and connection are just as important as the technical side of dentistry, and she’s honored to be part of each patient’s health and smile journey.

Outside the office, you can find her soaking up sunshine on Folly Beach, traveling, checking out new restaurants, or spending time with her sweet rescue pup, Olivia

Fun fact: She’s never seen any of the Harry Potter movies… but she promises they are on her watch list!
